Privacy policy

We at HTB First Aid Training want our customers to have the best experience possible, and as such, we would never pass on your personal details to other companies or individuals except where required to help us fulfil our services to you or by law. We certainly do not pass personal details such as email addresses to marketing companies or anything of the sort.

This privacy policy outlines the ways in which we collect and use your personal information. There aren’t many, so this shouldn’t take long!

Types of data we collect

Website cookies

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer when your browse websites in order to remember things that you do. Examples of this are: products you have purchased, the contents of your shopping cart, pages you’ve visited and actions you’ve taken. This information can be used to allow a website to market to you with targeted ads around the internet, including social media, allow you to return to your shopping cart with all the items remembered, or simply to allow the proper functioning of a website. Cookies may or may not contain personal information about you.

Cookies we use

We only use one cookie on our website, which is called “hide-privacy-notice“. Its job is to prevent you from seeing the privacy notice (the green bar at the bottom of the page) every time you visit the site once you have clicked the close button on it. This cookie does not store any personal information about you.

If we ever choose to change how we use cookies, we will promptly update this privacy policy and make it clear that we are doing so.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics collects information about visitor behaviour patterns and allows site owners to see how many people are visiting certain parts of our site, and certain actions they make take, for example.

We do not use Google Analytics at this time, but should we begin to, we would update this privacy policy and ensure that our users were informed that we had done so.

Third parties

We do not share any information with third parties, personal or otherwise. If this changes, we will update this privacy policy and inform our users that we are doing so.

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete any personal information that we hold about you. Currently, we only hold personal data on our email server that is collected via the contact forms on our website. We remove emails from customers as soon as their requests are fulfilled or within 365 days, whichever is sooner.

If you wish to view, amend, or delete any of your personal information, please contact our data protection officer, Nick, at

Changes to this privacy policy

This privacy policy was updated on 05/06/2018 and will be reviewed in response to changes to privacy law or changes in the way in which we collect and store data.
